Andrew and Dan met when they were working together at a company launching what was then “Canada's largest E-commerce Site”
Andrew in his giving nature gave Dan a manual to read on his first day. (Thanks man, real exciting) The friendship progressed to morning meetings in the coffee room, then to extended lunches talking about how smart they thought they were. They moved on to other rolls and other companies but still met for coffee to talk about one day having their own project. Many projects were started, (dating site, party invitation site, free real-estate site) but none were completed.
Dan moved to Toronto to take a job at a web consulting agency. Many late nights / weekends later they managed to launch what is today Toadfire.com (Pretty amazing as they have never actually worked on Toadfire together in the same room.) |
