From a user perspective, a Trackback is a means to notify another blog you have referenced it or your blog content is related. Blogs or websites that have this feature enabled will provide Trackback URLs that are specific to the blog or blog entry. This Trackback URL is used to reference the blog.
Toadfire.com is Trackback enabled and provides Trackback URLs at the end of each entry in a blog. This provided URL could be used by another blogger that wishes to reference the blog entry on toadfire.com. This is not limited to toadfire users and can be used by any blogger inside the internet.
